Former LaFace Records A&R Exec Bryant Reid Named Kentucky Colonel

Bryant Reid, the veteran Atlanta music executive whose career includes senior A&R roles at LaFace Records and Atlantic Records, has been commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.

The Kentucky Colonel commission is the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and recognizes individuals for noteworthy accomplishments and service.

Reid’s career has been closely connected to Atlanta’s rise as a global music center. During his tenure at LaFace Records, he played an A&R role during one of the most influential eras in the city’s music history, working with artists and projects that helped shape Atlanta’s cultural legacy.

The honor adds another distinction to Reid’s decades-long career in music, entertainment and community service.
